For over twenty-five years I have built a body of work based on the natural beauty of Florida. My primary subject matter centers on the large wading birds and their natural habitat which grace the State. The White Egret, Great Blue Heron, Roseate Spoonbill, Ibis, Flamingo, Pelican, Osprey and large landscape vistas of the Everglades have provided me with an endless source of creative inspiration.

I became fasinated by the White Egret, Great Blue Heron, Ibis, Pelican and the other wading birds from hours and hours of watching them while I fished the grass flats around Tampa Bay.

The egrets and herons are great to watch as they move along the mangrove islands. Roseate spoonbills are scarce around Tampa Bay but if you look for them they are there sharing the environment right along with the egrets, herons, pelicans and ibis.
