The Perkins Neighborhood Monument Marker is another great example of how the durable qualities of handpainted ceramic tile can be put to use. This neighborhood marker is in St. Petersburg on the corner of 15th Avenue South and 25th Street. We did four monuments for the neighborhood that set at various corner locations throughout the area. The logo is on two sides of the monument. |

The
Perkins Neighborhood Association sponsored the monuments on a grant
from the city. Their logo is based on the original one-room school
house from the neighborhood. That school is now Perkins Elementary.
The color scheme for the monument is based on the colors used on the
present school.
