pool deck area was painted to simulate large slabs of marble. |

You
can see from the picture below the beautiful location I got to
work in on this project. This home is in the Tampa Bay area the
view you see is looking to the west. Every evening the home owners
get treated to a fabulous sunset over the water. |

A
series of photos from the completed deck follow. The first one shows
stress fractures in the marble. The initial inspiration to paint
the deck like large marble slabs came from the homeowners and their
frustration with stress cracks in the concrete pool deck. Trying
to patch and cover up the cracks met with limited success. They
approached me with idea of painting the deck like marble and incorporating
the cracks as stress fissures in the marble. What a great idea and
the deck turned out to be spectacular. |
